Patience

Patience, patience, patience. When the environment around us is such fast pace these days, it's sometimes difficult to slow down and take a breath. We seem to have to catch up and stay up on the latest technology, latest trends and what everyone else in the world is doing, but we have to focus on what is most important. Our inner peace. If you are always in a hurry and in a rush, that only makes you more frustrated because you tend to want everything right now and exactly when you want it. Life won't always hand you what you want when you want it, so it's best to slow down, breathe and then be calm hearted. When you wait for something you want, you appreciate it more. You also don't get frustrated as much when you learn to wait and be patient because you are in a less eager state. For example, a chocolate chip cookie tastes way better when you've waited all day to eat it than just going ahead and eating it just because it's there. Know that what you want will come and when you wait for it and not try to force it, you will have gained more patience and conquered the wait :) Check out more here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6GV49Lc7GOA

Answer these questions below to see how patient you are.

  1. Can you wait until after dinner to eat dessert?

  2. Do you get frustrated if someone doesn't respond to you in a text after a few mins?

  3. Are you calm if and when you have to wait in a long line?

  4. If your computer takes long to load, how do you react?

  5. When you are faced with an issue, how do you respond?

If you are very patient, that's great! If you aren't as patient, you can definitely work on it! There is always room for growth!
