Responsibility

Updated: Jan 9

Let's talk about responsibility! :) Being responsible means to be accountable for yourself and your actions. We all have to make sure that we are doing what we need to, in order to be more helpful.

Responsibility is an important characteristic because you are allowing others to be able to count on you. So, when your parents or guardians tell you to wash the dishes or clean your room, and you do, you are being responsible because you are taking care of something that needs your attention. Another key to being responsible is when we make decisions. It isn't too responsible to play video games all night knowing you have to get up for school in the morning. Instead, you can get a good night's sleep and be ready to school and get excited knowing you have video games to look forward to, after your homework. That's being responsible! :) Now, sometimes we may let some dishes pile up in the sink, sometimes we can be a bit lazy, but taking care of those dishes is all part of being responsible because you are being helpful with cleaning up.

Being responsible also means taking good care of the world we all live in. We are able to do what we can to protect our world and each other. The only thing we are in control of is doing our part. Check our more here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CRQ1BAb0eVw
